This position oversees the day to day operations of a food production plant and the activities of the production staff and schedules production, controls inventories, and assists in training and motivating team members. Ensures the proper flow of product to the customer.
What You'll be Doing:
- Practice 200% Safety accountability (self and others).
- Direct all plant manufacturing operations in an efficient manner
- Manage all team leaders and production staff.
- Maintain and improve productivity, decreasing unit cost.
- Ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) are maintained.
- Maintain and improve health and safety performance.
- Ensure manufacturing team is fully trained and motivated.
- Confirm production targets are met to ensure a high quality of customer service.
- Develop and manage operating budgets.
- Lead by example with regard to people, food, and safety.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
- Bachelors degree in related field preferred ~OR~ equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in food manufacturing.
- 5-10 years of hand-on plant experience in the dairy or food industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to deliver results and make decisions while juggling multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills.
- Reliable and consistent attendance required.
