BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

In-Plant Solutions Manager primary role is to manage In-Plant on site Inside Sales Executives, with

a span of control of 15-25 locations and assist Sr. Leadership with strategy development and execution. Competencies include associate skill and career development, onboarding/training, appropriate goal setting, Supply Chain practices, and a high standard of customer service. Sales and Profitability goals will be aligned with the overall Regional and Company expectations and will support In-Plant on site team to reach annual metrics.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Provides a leadership role for In-Plant associates through expert knowledge in the area of technical specialization. p rovides direct supervision, mentoring, and supply chain guidance to In-Plant associates located throughout the region.

+ Assists with development of specific MSC In-Plant Solutions Program goals and training material and implement across the In-Plant Management Team.

+ Works on advanced, complex technical business issues requiring advanced technical or industry knowledge.

+ Growth and profitability of each in-plant customer location to ensure revenue and profit goals are accomplished

+ Offers support at each In-Plant customer location when required

+ Creates a Standard Operating Procedures and daily schedule for each In-Plant associate

+ Train In-Plant associates with tools and solutions to be successful such as system and solution training

+ Onboarding new team members

+ Provide weekly communications to Regional Sales Manager/Director Customer Solutions/Sr. Sales Leadership, monthly communications with each client site champion, and visit each assigned location to discuss service levels and incremental spend opportunities no less than once per quarter.

+ Provide guidance, process management, and regular client reporting around all cost savings procedures, savings attainment, and service level metrics.

+ Coordinates other MSC resources and departments in their support of site projects and regular processes.

+ Works with Account Sales Owner to identify and realize opportunities for expanded spend management within each site.

+ Will assume additional projects and responsibilities in relationship to our In-Plant strategy which could include managing Integrated Partners or other programs outside their normal regional responsibilities.

+ Participates in customer business review which are led by the Account Sales Owner

+ Audit site operations versus established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on an annual basis.

+ Review all business management reports and provide guidance to In-Plant associates and Account Sales Owner

+ Evaluate existing SOPs and prioritize the revision of same on a continuous improvement process basis, to include sponsorship or participation in kaizen process improvement projects.

+ Perform all duties inherent in the role of an MSC Manager including hiring, termination, review and development of associates.

+ Drives the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.

+ Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

+ Bachelor's Degree (in a business or supply chain related field) and a minimum of eight years' relevant experience including Industrial Solutions such as VMI and Vending, In-Plant Supply Chain Management, distribution for a manufacturing plant is required.

+ Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in disciplines outlined above is lieu of a bachelor's degree.

+ Minimum of 3 years managerial experience is preferred.

SKILLS:

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills

+ Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

+ Highly motivated to be successful in fast paced environment

+ Ability to work in a team environment

+ Experience working in multiple customer and crib management software programs

+ Experience working in the Industrial or Manufacturing segments (Industrial Distribution experience is preferred) ? General knowledge of the sourcing and market participants for all MRO categories

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

+ A valid driver's license and the ability to travel an expected 50% of the time will be required.

+ This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information ( ITAR ) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information ( CUI ).

Compensation starting at $96740 - $138200 depending on experience. .

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
