  • Escalate interruptions immediately to Management and supervisor.
  • Support immediate Team and other employee-based groups including providing knowledge sharing.
  • Meet project expectations on quality of work, deliverables, and task completion on time.

  • Responsible for system documentation as assigned.
  • This position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Microsoft 365 security platform.
  • This position requires expert-level knowledge of Entra/Azure.
  • Active Directory Premium, Defender for Office 365, Azure Information Protection, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Identity, Data Loss Prevention, and Conditional Access.
  • The Security Architect has experience in designing and implementing complex security solutions and should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
  • Required Minimum Training: Graduation from a four-year college or university or equivalent training and experience in the field of work related to the position's role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Entra/Azure Active Directory Premium, Defender for Office 365, Azure Information Protection, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Identity, Data Loss Prevention, and Conditional Access.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
Professional Licenses/Certifications:
  • Microsoft SC-100: Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect.
  • Microsoft SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst.
  • Microsoft SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator.
  • Microsoft SC-400: Microsoft Information Protection Administrator.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Implement and configure Entra/Azure Active Directory Premium, Defender for Office 365, Azure Information Protection, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Identity, Data Loss Prevention, and Conditional Access based on.
  • Develop detailed project plans, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications for security platform implementation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients and team members on M365 Security solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the security architecture integrates effectively with the overall IT infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies and make recommendations for enhancements to security engagements.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing and training sessions for team members and agency employees.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and agency employees in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and future platform advancements through continuous learning opportunities.
Work Environment:
  • This job operates in a professional office environment onsite, remotely, and in a hybrid capacity.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
  • In addition, familiarity with the front-end Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and any additional programs or equipment used to execute specific tasks as required for the role.
