Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) to serve as the Curriculum Dean for our Microsoft Practice areas. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across Microsoft platforms, including Azure, Business Applications, Security, Data & AI, and Modern Work/MS365. This role is critical in ensuring our Microsoft offerings align with market trends, customer needs, and high-quality learning experiences. You will collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to develop engaging, accurate content that drives leads, conversions, and customer satisfaction. The Microsoft Curriculum Dean will also oversee the Microsoft Title Plan, working closely with Product Development to ensure course quality and relevance. Additionally, the Dean will review and enhance course materials and ensure accuracy across the website with course descriptions, prerequisites, and other important details.
Key Responsibilities:
- Course Development and Alignment: Evaluate and review Microsoft courses, including Azure, Business Applications, Security, Data & AI, and Modern Work/MS365, ensuring they align with job roles, industry trends, and partner requirements. Ensure prerequisites, hands-on requirements, and course content meet customer expectations and support sales efforts.
- Content Accuracy and Website Management: Ensure all Microsoft course descriptions, prerequisites, learning objectives, and other related details are accurate and up-to-date on the website. Regularly audit website content to maintain alignment with Learning Tree's standards and Microsoft's latest updates.
- Review for Customer Experience: Periodically review Microsoft courses to assess and enhance the customer learning experience. Recommend improvements to course delivery, content structure, and learner engagement to ensure high satisfaction and positive outcomes.
- Microsoft Partner Ecosystem Management: Work closely with Microsoft Learning to manage compliance with partner program requirements. Collaborate on the Microsoft Title Plan and ensure timely updates and adjustments to keep our curriculum competitive.
- Instructor and Course Oversight: Manage and promote core Microsoft courses across all practice areas, overseeing instructor vetting and providing support for live events or customer engagements. Ensure course mapping aligns with relevant career paths for learners.
- Sales and Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing and sales to produce high-quality promotional content, ensuring consistency with our Microsoft offerings. Engage in client calls, providing expert advice on how our Microsoft curriculum addresses their needs.
- Enterprise and On-Demand Offerings: Evaluate Microsoft OnDemand videos and labs for potential inclusion in enterprise training packages. Advise on strategies for hosting Discovery Days, webinars, or other events to support lead generation and conversions.
- Sales Enablement and Support: Create engaging sales materials such as blogs, whitepapers, and case studies that clearly articulate the value of our Microsoft offerings. Offer strategic support to sales teams during client engagements, providing expertise on our Microsoft curriculum.
- Partner Collaboration: Participate in business reviews with Microsoft and contribute to the development of joint business plans. Ensure alignment between Learning Tree's offerings and Microsoft's strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) certification required.
- Expertise in Microsoft platforms: Azure, Business Applications, Security, Data & AI, and Modern Work/MS365.
- Experience in curriculum development and content alignment with industry and partner standards.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage relationships with sales, marketing, and product development teams.
