Job Description
Locations: Foster City, CA, San Jose, CA, Bethpage, NY, and Charlotte, NC
Job Responsibilities:
- 4 years of experience in developing reports, dashboards, SQL queries, or metadata layers using MicroStrategy.
- Experience in converting business data needs into creative visualizations in MicroStrategy.
- Thorough understanding of MicroStrategy architecture.
- Partner with business stakeholders to provide them with the ability to make decisions and gain insights through data visualization.
- Complete life cycle experience including requirements gathering, data modeling, design, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
- Ability to write SQL for initial data mining that can be communicated to peer ETL developers for database development.
- MicroStrategy-Hadoop integration is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Data modeling, design, and implementation based on recognized standards.
- Additional knowledge of Tableau is a definite plus.
- Experience in ETL tools (like Talend, Pentaho) preferred.
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
- Ability to work in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
- Experience in the financial domain.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience within Information Technologies.
