Located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, our team is dedicated to producing advanced technology solutions that safeguard national security and advance the industry.We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Microwave Assembler III to join our team. In this role, you will:• Perform fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity. Duties include installation of connectors, substrates, components, and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing paste and sheet epoxies.• Perform disassembly, assembly, modification, rework, and repair operations on various pre-production subassemblies, assemblies, and complete systems that utilize integrated circuit technology. Perform the above operations after the units have been rejected by testing and are sent back with test failure sheets, isolating the problem area. Plan work sequence by assessing available work in progress to meet schedule requirements. Utilize measurement equipment (e.g. reticle, drop indicator, etc…) to check parameters during and after work to ensure that the unit conforms to specifications. Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot product to specifications. Work independently with minimal supervision.The shift for this position is Second shift. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.Basic Qualifications:• Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly• Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar instruments• Good dexterity and eye/hand coordination• Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings• Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
