Employment Type:Full timeShift:Description:The Mid Level Provider works collaboratively with the physicians and a multidisciplinary health team. The Mid Level Provider is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients. The scope of responsibilities include: therapeutic health service that focus on health restoration, health maintenance and disease prevention. Provides health education and counseling to individuals and families in the health center and supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.General Summary:Works in collaboration with a physician to diagnose and manage treatment of health center and doctor's office patients. The MLP's scope of responsibilities include therapeutic health service that focus on health restoration, health maintenance and disease prevention. Provides health education and counseling to individuals and families.Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.Minimum licensure/certification required (if applicable):Mid Level Provider(Nurse Practitioner) licensure in Active status in MarylandCurrent BLS certification and Current ACLS certificationMinimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:Current active licensure to practice as a Mid Level Provider (NP) in the State of Maryland Completion of a approved Nurse Practitioner program by the appropriate Maryland licensing Board. For NPs, successful completion of national certifying examination acceptable to the Maryland State Board of Nursing .Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a professional role, a minimum of 2 years experience in a clinic or an established doctor's office environment preferred. Able to use computers. Reads, writes, speaks and comprehends English.
