We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to support Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The position requires at least 4 years of experience in cost analysis/cost estimating. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following:Responsibilities
- Provides initial planning documents, program & schedule breakdown structures, budget requirement analyses, and earned value guidance to program/Product Directors and integrated product teams.
- Provides support during review of contractor proposal submittals, including review of submitted hours, direct labor rates, overhead rates, other direct costs and general review of the contractor's Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Prepares Program Office Estimates (POE), Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE), Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD), Independent Cost Estimates (ICE), Component Cost Analysis (CCA), Business Case Analysis (BCA), and Affordability Analysis and Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA).
- Lead effort to identify data relationships, trends and anomalies.
- Perform ad hoc cost analysis.
- Support documentation and review meetings with key stakeholders.
- Work with senior government clients to achieve program and analytic goals.Skills Required
- Minimum four (4) years of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
- Proficiency in cost estimating software (e.g. ACEIT, Crystal Ball).
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.
- Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
