Are you a dedicated and passionate US or Canadian trained/certified English Teacher interested in teaching in England? The UK curriculum covers English Language and Literature including Shakespeare, creative writing and poetry.

Please note: This not a ESOL/TESOL role, you must be a certified teacher with school teaching experience to apply.

Position: Secondary English Teacher Location: Various schools across South East England Start Date: September 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students aged 11-16 (sometimes up to 18).
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and share best practices.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inspiring classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field or a valid teaching certification from a US state or Canadian province.
• Experience teaching middle or high school English preferred.
• Graduate teachers very welcome to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
• A commitment of at least one year teaching in England
