Middle/High School Basketball Coaches

We are hiring Middle and High School Basketball Head and Assistant Coaches for local Private Schools throughout NYC! There are open roles from Chelsea up to the UES/UWS side.

Schedule:

• 2-3 days/week for Middle School
• 4-5 days/week for High School
• Head and Assistant roles available
• Practice times will begin at 3:15pm at the earliest
• Season is from November to Mid February (off most of December for the holidays)

Job description: Looking for experienced individuals who love the game of basketball and are comfortable teaching it to kids. Coaches must have past playing experience and ideally coaching experience as well.

Responsibilities:

• Incorporate new techniques into practice sessions.
• Coach players on basketball fundamentals.
• Evaluate players' performances.
• Strengthen players' skills on and off the court
• Mentor young players.

Ideal coach: On time, engage with the kids, follow instructions, checking in students, timely, be able to control the class, be fun.
