Job Description:

The Middle Office team is seeking an individual with experience in supporting the post execution process for different trade products, including trade confirmation, settlement, and fail resolution. The role involves analyzing and improving processes, assisting with ad hoc requests, and providing steady monitoring of Middle Office applications while reducing operational risk.

The client was founded in New York City and is now the Largest Asset Manager in the world. Some of the services that they offer include asset management, portfolio construction, capital markets support, regulatory advisory etc.

Description

  • Support Trade Lifecycle: Oversee post-execution tasks such as trade confirmation, settlement, and resolution of discrepancies for various trade products.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in workflows and contribute to the development and enhancement of processes and controls.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Ensure timely and accurate monitoring of trade activities across multiple products, minimizing operational risk.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve settlement issues or trade failures, working closely with relevant teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Liaise with internal teams to support trade-related activities and ensure clear communication of issues and resolutions.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Assist with ad-hoc requests and special projects, contributing to the continuous improvement of the team's performance and efficiency.

Profile

  • Experience: 5-7 years in asset management or middle office operations, with a focus on supporting the trade lifecycle across various asset classes.
  • Trade Lifecycle Expertise: Strong understanding of post-execution processes, including trade confirmation, settlement, and fail resolution.
  • Process Improvement: Ability to identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with systems such as Omego and experience handling derivative products like futures, OTC, and FOREX.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to resolve issues.
  • Problem Solving & Multitasking: Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth trade operations.
