Hiring multiple candidates, Easy Apply, Full Time *Job Description*We are looking for a Middle School Science Teacher in the Denver Area. As a Middle School Science Teacher you will support children in the classroom and gain exposure to schools and invaluable experience.In this role, you will be able to grow your experience and relationships with multiple schools and gain exposure to a broad range of teaching styles and behavior management principles. This role comes with a competitive daily rate between $180 - $220 per day, paid weekly. With this role, there is no requirement to work weekends, and will be on a schedule Monday to Friday week, within hours of 7:30 - 3:30 and Wednesdays until 4:00 pm. This position is for the 2024-2025 school year starting August 5, 2024 - May 22, 2025. *Responsibilities:* * Teach two sections of 6th grade and two for 7th grade Science* Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that align with the curriculum.* Coordinate and execute an outdoor lab experience, including a four-day trip to the mountains, in collaboration with another teacher and students.* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.* Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.* Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.* Utilize 10 days of paid time off in addition to scheduled breaks and typical holidays. *Benefits:* * Weekly pay* Paid Sick Leave* 401K (certain eligibility criteria) *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree, Science field and experience teaching Middle School* Currently have or will obtain a CO teaching credential or substitute teaching permit* Pass a background check before the hiring date* Must be available for 4-day camping field trip (outdoor lab) with students, other staff* Applicants must have professional proficiency in English* US Work Authorization as Zen Educate is unable to sponsor any employment visa or relocation assistance at this time. *Preferred Qualifications:* * Master's Degree * Accredited Teacher Preparation Program *Why Zen?*Zen Educate makes finding your perfect role in education easier!
