Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Mill Manufacturing Trainee to join their team. As a Mill Manufacturing Trainee, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the experienced staff. The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time, basic computer skills, and 2 years of related work experience which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Mill Manufacturing Trainee
**Location:** Escanaba, MI
**Pay Range:** $21.00 per Hour
**Shift:** Mill is in operation 24/7, must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist in the operation of manufacturing machinery under the supervision of experienced staff.
+ Learn to monitor production processes and maintain equipment to ensure efficiency and quality.
+ Participate in quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards.
+ Help with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Other duties as assigned.
**What's Needed?**
+ Temporary position up to 4 months, potential for perm but not guaranteed.
+ Mill is in operation 24/7, must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
+ Minimum age of 18. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license.
+ Basic computer skills and 2 years related work experience.
+ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time.
+ Preferred: post high school education, industrial experience, industry-related certifications, experience operating industrial equipment.
+ Criminal background check required.
