Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is currently hiring a 3rd shift Milling Operator for our operation in Lima, Ohio. The Milling Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a milling machine to mill our forged rolls to customer specifications.
Competitive starting wages $22.20 per hour, benefit/insurance package, 8 paid holidays, 401K, PTO, Vacation, Paid Relief Days, $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS, and this position is eligible for the Production Incentive Program.
Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate mills and controller
* Milling rolls to customer blueprint specification
* Inspect milled dimension(s) to customer blueprint
* Reporting all deviations from customer blueprint specifications
* Perform other department duties, as assigned
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
* Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
* Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
* Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Previous milling experience required
* Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required
* Strong math skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints
* Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
* Previous CNC machining experience preferred
* Must be able to work any shift
Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
Classification: Hourly
