$33 an hour + 5K sign on bonus and quarterly bonus's
Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a large client in the manufacturing industry looking to hire a Millwright! This role is a union role with a swing shift with 12-hour shifts rotating days/nights and working every other weekend. However, every couple months, you get 6 days off.
Responsibilities:
Day to day responsibilities:
- Burning, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearing, combustion, mechanical systems, trouble shooting, and blueprint reading.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in a steel mill atmosphere
- Must be able to work in a high-speed processing environment
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industrial experience as a millwright
- Industry experience- HEAVY, within a steel manufacturing plant ideally but, if not that- then a machine shop, or similar industry.
- Able to read blueprints & schematics
- Experience with Stick welding
- Pipe welding experience
- Able to use and read with precision measuring tools- tape measure, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, surface plates, CMM
- Able to be on high ladders, climb those, and get in tight corners if needed
- Safety oriented person!
- Any advanced hydraulic experience would be a plus
- Able to jump in as needed and wear many hats
