Pay: $24-$28/hour
Millwright job description:This position will support our elevators and agronomy locations in repairs, preventative maintenance, and new construction projects.
Essential Job Functions:- Weld for repairs of existing structures/equipment
- Installation of new structures and Equipment
- Repairs of conveyance equipment (chain conveyors, belt conveyors, bucket elevators)
- Preventative Maintenance (greasing, checking tension, checking oil levels)
- Trouble shooting break downs
- Safety improvements
- Log work performed in online CMMS
- Work with OSHA and consultants on project management
- Resolve bottlenecks in production
Preferred Skills/Knowledge:- 2 years of experience welding (stick and mig)
- Demonstrates the ability to be mechanically inclined
- Ability to install bearings, motors and gearboxes
- 2 years of experience with heavy machinery: i.e. skid loaders, telehandler, etc.
- Ability to read blue prints, tape measure, and other measuring devices
- Prior grain handling experience (preferred but not required)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Trade School certificate
- If required, must be able to obtain DNSF, CSX and TWIC certifications
Other Job information:- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time including overnight stays
- Ability to work extended hours, including some weekends
- All tools will be supplied
- Valid drivers license required and proof of insurance
- Ability to stand, bend and reach for 8 hours at a time
- Ability to climb up to 200'
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly
- Able to work outside year round in a sometimes dusty work environment
