millwright.+ jackson , mississippi+ posted october 4, 2024**job details**summary+ $65,000 - $80,000 per year+ permanent+ high school+ category computer and mathematical occupations+ reference1068095job detailsjob summary:Industry leading, very reputable and well establishedmanufacturing company is looking for a Millwright in the Jackson, Mississippi area.This position comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with an opportunity to earn $65k to $80k plus OT.All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.location: Jackson, Mississippijob type: Permanentsalary: $65,000 - 80,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: High Schoolresponsibilities:Responsibilities+ Must work in full compliance with all approved safety regulations+ Follow required safety procedures for example lockout/tagout, fall protection, hot work permit and etc.+ Works from blueprints, diagrams, charts, sketches, and verbal instructions to plan, install, assemble, fabricate, lubricate, test, adjust, inspect, repairs and maintain plant equipment, machinery and structures.+ Ability to use machinery or equipment, such as Telehandlers and Manlifts, to move or access mechanical parts+ Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures+ Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use+ Install equipment such as shafting, pulleys and conveyors+ Align and mount equipment within 0.001 using specialized tools+ Shim and torque as required for alignment+ Responsible for specific pieces of equipment under preventive maintenance program.+ Performs cutting, welding, and brazing as necessary.+ Makes a written report on Maintenance Work Sheet at the end of each shift.+ Keeps working area in a, clean, safe and orderly condition and performs all work in accordance with plant and departmental rules.Preferred Education and Experience+ 3 years previous maintenance experience+ Previous manufacturing industrial manufacturing maintenance experience requiredPersonal maintenance tools are required\#LI-DW1qualifications:+ Experience level: Experienced+ Minimum 3 years of experience+ Education: High School (required)skills:+ millwright+ MaintenanceEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Randstad, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
