Job Summary:
The Millwright has direct responsibility for providing maintenance support to a group of locations/facilities. The position is responsible for the up-keep of the facility which includes equipment repair and overall maintenance. Heavy travel is required.
Essential Job Functions:
* Repair/assist in repair of equipment and machinery at facility locations
* Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts
* Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
* Operate maintenance hand and power tools
* Position steel beams to support bedplates of machines and equipment using blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
* Install new equipment, fabricate and weld as necessary
* Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks
* Work within company safety guidelines
* Comply with the organization's EHS Policy and all other EHS practices, programs and procedures
* Complete required EHS System and EHS Management system training successfully
* Participate in the EHS Management System by reporting incidents or near misses
* Attend healthy and safety meetings, reporting problems and recommend improvements
* Inform supervisor or instructor of any safety hazards, environmental issues or system deficiencies in the workplace
* Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings and completing assignments

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:
* Ability to work and interact well with others
* 0-5 years' experience as millwright or maintenance department experience preferred
* Strong skills in fabrication and welding
* Experience with hydraulics and electronics a plus
* Accreditations in the field or a trade school a plus
Special Demands:
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
* Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, kneel, and ben
* Exposure to moderate to loud noise within the work environment.
* Exposure to heavy concentrations of grain dust.
* Ability to frequently move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
* Ability to frequently wear personal protective equipment correctly, including respirators, fall protection, safety glasses, hard hat, etc.
* Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
* Ability to comfortably work at heights of approximately 200 ft.
* Ability to work in outdoor work environment, including various climates, weather conditions, and inclement weather, approximately 80% of the time.
* Ability to perform all job responsibilities with necessary special demands for up to 8 hours per day.
