**Millwright Mechanic - NASA**

**Job Description:**

+ Disassemble repairs, reassembles and verifies various types of valves, valve operators, and pressure regulators.

+ Operate hydraulic systems, high-pressure gas systems including gas tubers, pressure reduction stations, pressure pumps, and seals, etc.

+ Assists in the installation and operation of intricate research test packages in various test facilities.

+ Fabricate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical control test panels, and special test equipment. May operate, maintain, and calibrate leak detection systems.

+ Fabricate, install, and operate various Hydraulic, Vacuum, and Pneumatic Systems.

**Qualifications:**

+ Must have at least 5 years of mechanical work experience (Mechanic, Auto mechanic, Machine Building, A&P Mechanic, Maintenance Technician)

+ Must be able to read and interpret multiple blue prints.

+ Must have experience with various fabricating equipment (Mills, Lathes, Grinders, Drill Press, etc.)

+ Must have experience working with Hydraulics and pneumatics (Installations, troubleshooting, repair, build ups).
