Millwright/RiggingMillwright/RiggingCurrently seeking talented and experienced Millwright for our organization, a superior resource for electrical-mechanical sales and service for customers in the Northeast. We sell and service a complete line of motors, pumps, fans, air compressors, controls, and switchgear to ensure smooth effective power usage...from Line to Load.This craftsperson (or tradesperson) will be responsible for installing, dismantling, maintaining, repairing, and transporting of industrial and mechanical machinery and equipment including large motors, pumps, compressors, switchgears, transformers, circuit breakers, and controls.The Millwright position requires a successful candidate to possess:* The ability to operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts.* Ability to fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances.* Skills to align and test equipment and make any necessary adjustments. A candidate must be proficient in the use of laser level and laser alignment systems.* Possess the complete knowledge in the use of micrometers, venire calipers, dial indicators, feeler gauges, and any other measuring devices used in the Millwright field.The successful candidate for the Millwright position must also possess the ability for the following behavioral skills:* Have experience interacting with the customer's representative to explain issues as they arise, and acting as the face of the company.* A successful candidate should be curious and flexible.
