Job Description:
In order to be considered for this role, after clicking Apply Now above and being redirected, you must fully complete the application process on the follow-up screen.POSITION OVERVIEW:The Minor League Baseball Technology Operator will be a member of the Baseball Technology team andis responsible for collecting data and operating performance technology at the Salem Red Sox. Thisindividual will collaborate closely with the Video & Technology Associate, as well as the Press Box staff.We expect you to be available, in-person, and available on weekends to operate KinaTrax / TrackMan for3-4 home games per homestand. This role pays $15 per hour and will not exceed 35 hours per week. Hours will vary based on team schedule.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collect TrackMan data by utilizing their provided tagging software, properly tagging pitch types and game flow.
  • Collect KinaTrax data by utilizing their provided tagging software, ensuring our metadata is correct and the video clips a proper duration.
  • Interact with the Video & Technology Associate before, during, and after the game to ensure all our data is precise and accurate.
  • We expect proper press box etiquette, and in return will provide a learning opportunity for the chosen candidates.

  • Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior experience in baseball/softball is preferred.
