Key Responsibilities: Reviews Batch Schedule to ensure correct ingredients and amounts are used in each batch. Lifts frozen product onto pallets or pitches frozen product into crusher. Weighs or measures ingredients and product to ensure conformance to requirements. Operates the Mixer to blend ingredients and adds new ingredients at the appropriate times throughout the mix process per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP.) Observes equipment and alerts maintenance of breakdowns and mechanical problems Makes minor adjustments to equipment to control product flow or adjust color hue. Examines ingredients and product visually and with hands in order to ensure conformance to established standards. Stops mixing or blending machines when specified product qualities are obtained and open valves and starts pumps to transfer mixture. Notifies Quality Assurance of any ingredients that may not meet the required standards. .Keeps equipment, tools and work area clean in accordance with company specifications. Records information for each batch mixed per company specifications. Dismantles and cleans equipment according to standard sanitation procedures then reassembles it. Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned. Additional Responsibilities: Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions. Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings. Minimum Requirements Preferred Qualifications: 3 to 6 months food manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to climb ladders to elevated platforms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee moves objects regularly up to 5 pounds frequently up to 25 pounds occasionally up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to distinguish shades of color to identify abnormalities and/or defects in food products.
