**ROLE DEFINITION** ?
As a **Mixing Technician** you will be responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient mixing of batches of chemical materials by adding raw materials into a mixing pot. This role works from 1:30PM to 10:00PM and requires a moderate amount of overtime throughout the week and sometimes on Saturdays.
**Starting Salary $23.50/hr. plus $2.00 shift premium**
**Training for the position will take place during 1st shift hours (5:30AM - 2:00PM) for approx. 1 - 3 weeks.**
**RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION** ??
**Your key responsibilities will be/what you'll do:** ?
+ Adhere to quality and safety systems and standards
+ Handle hazardous raw materials and products with appropriate care and precaution
+ Monitor process conditions and equipment
+ Participate in the creation and the maintenance of a clean work area
? **JOB QUALIFICATIONS** ?
**Requirements:** ?
+ High School education or GED equivalent (required)
+ Second Shift 1:30PM to 10:00PM (required)
+ Experience operating a fork truck is a plus
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment or clean room is preferred
+ Willing and able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required
+ Willing and able to work in a restricted, electrically classified area for use of flammable and combustible materials
+ Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
