Job DescriptionSUMMARYPerform various duties within the mixing department as a relief or replacement operator on all production operations including, but not limited to, belt loader, rear hopper operator, mill operator, stacker, compounder, others as required as well as cutting and trucking stock, putting up scrap, weighing up manual oils, general clean up and assisting regular operators as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:1. Operate production equipment as assigned to relieve or replace regular operators for brief or extended periods of time.2. Operate power lift trucks, bail picker, power sweeper, guillotine, other equipment in support of or to service production operations.3. Assist operators such as placing plastic sheets between slabs for stacker, supplying pallets and skids, filling compounder's bins, general material handling.4. Detect and report material or equipment problems, unusual situations to the team leader. Maintain equipment and area in a neat and orderly condition. Follow all safety rules, regulations and practices and employ all safety equipment and devices.5.
