This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Job Functions:Works as an effective team memberStands for entire shift at the production lineAssists with production line in a variety of capacities, as neededMeasures and pour ingredients in correct amounts for each productStarts up and stop equipmentEnsures conformance to specificationsFeeds or place items onto equipment for processingInspects the goods producedResponsible for the detection and isolation of foreign materialsExecutes on instruction from ManagersEnsures that all loaded items are done so in accordance to the company protocolMakes sure that appropriate safety measures are taken at every step of the production processAdvocates safety practices to the rest of the production staffBecomes trained and is knowledgeable about all GMPs and HACCP guidelinesReports all Food Safety, Food Quality and Food Security concerns to Management.Organizes daily labor and gives requested breaksOther duties, as requestedCompetencies:DependableHard workingSafety consciousAble to follow W.I. (work instructions), SOP (standard operating procedures) and SSOP (standard sanitation operating procedures)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a teamAble to competently complete a variety of tasks and other duties as requestedSpecific Job Requirements:Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, squat, turn, reach, pull, push, balance and lift objects up to 50 poundsMust have the ability to stand, walk and move about for extended periods of timeWork in cold manufacturing environment, including, coolers in temperatures as low as 35-38, and -20 degrees FahrenheitResponsible for writing up and disciplining their staff and retraining.Required to notify management about actual or potential food safety issuesAdditional Needs:Able to work some overtime as neededMust have proof to be legally eligible to work in the United States, with two approved forms of identification.About Us:Working Fields is a staffing agency hiring on behalf of a local employer.
