Department Overview:
Materials Management Department provides employees with an opportunity to actively participate in the purchase; receiving and distribution of medical supplies and linens for stock locations throughout the facility while maintaining adequate stock levels and building customer relationships.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains professional relationship with Linen Rental company.
- Conduct inventory assessments to ensure adequate linen levels.
- Place daily linen orders to meet hospital needs.
- Ensure linen delivery to hospital units follows departmental guidelines.
- Assist Material Management in enhancing relationships between KHN departments and Material Management for optimal Customer Satisfaction.
- Follow directions and assist Material Management leadership with assigned duties.
- Use proper phone etiquette and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in materials management processes preferred
- Knowledge of computer and computer related equipment preferred
- Completion of High School or its equivalent
