Department Overview:

Materials Management Department provides employees with an opportunity to actively participate in the purchase; receiving and distribution of medical supplies and linens for stock locations throughout the facility while maintaining adequate stock levels and building customer relationships.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains professional relationship with Linen Rental company.
  • Conduct inventory assessments to ensure adequate linen levels.
  • Place daily linen orders to meet hospital needs.
  • Ensure linen delivery to hospital units follows departmental guidelines.
  • Assist Material Management in enhancing relationships between KHN departments and Material Management for optimal Customer Satisfaction.
  • Follow directions and assist Material Management leadership with assigned duties.
  • Use proper phone etiquette and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in materials management processes preferred
  • Knowledge of computer and computer related equipment preferred
  • Completion of High School or its equivalent
