Job Type Full-time Description Position Overview: Works at conveyor belt picking up, filling cases or trays with cookies and feeding them into wrapper. Essential Job Functions:
- Assists in filling cases or totes according to package weight.
- Keeps packaging area neat and orderly and stocked with proper packaging materials as directed by lead.
- Periodic scale tare checks when needed.
- Inspects and re-works finished product as needed.
- Sorting and weighing waste.
- Work in close proximity with other employees. Depending on production variety warrants 30 minute rotation.
- Responsible for tearing down, cleaning and re-assembling of any equipment used in the processing of finished product.
- Responsible for performing all duties in a safe manner and reporting any unsafe conditions to leads, supervisor or management.
- Perform all other related duties as directed by lead or supervisor.
Non Essential Job Functions:
- Must be able to perform all required duties safely and report any unsafe conditions to lead/supervisor.
- Clean work equipment and work area as needed.
- May be required to fill in for absent employees in other positions.
- Performs other related duties as directed by lead or supervisor.
- Must be self-motivated, show initiative, and good organizational skills.
Requirements Requirements:
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred, food manufacturing is a plus.
- Must have HS Diploma or GED
- Must have good oral and communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic math skills.
- Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise.
- Maintain professional and positive attitude and working ethic.
- Must follow all CFI GMP's and work consistent with all food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.
- Must be able to follow instructions, complete tasks on time and get along with co-workers.
Other Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work individually and in a team setting.
