Responsibilities
  • Performs vehicle service and repair work as assigned in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • Work on a company van supplied with state-of-the-art tools
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems in an offsite setting
  • Maintain the mobile service vehicle you have been assigned
  • Perform inspections to identify any needed repairs or preventative maintenance needs
  • Communicate directly with the Mobile Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed
  • Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Document all work performed on the repair order using the dealer management system (Dealertrack)
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Service Technician experience required
  • Stellantis/Chrysler experience required
  • Dealertrack DMS experience preferred.
  • A-level qualifications
  • Willingness to travel and perform mobile services within a certain radius of the dealership
  • Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies
  • Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check and potential drug test
