Job SummaryOur client is seeking a CT or MRI Technologist to provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. The role involves performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital radiography equipment, unloading equipment, performing EKGs, and maintaining communication with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Operating portable (DR) or (CR) radiology equipment to produce diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
- Driving company vehicle with radiology equipment [If applicable to position] to various locations (State owned long-term care facilities) to perform various x-ray/CT exams as ordered by the physician
- Obtaining and scanning required exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
- Communicating regularly with dispatch and management.
- Communicating efficiently and interacting professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
- Maintaining vehicle and x-ray equipment. Technologist must care for their equipment in a professional manner.
- Training other technologists as required.
- Performing special projects or other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification and or CT/MRI Certification or Registry Eligible within 3 months (Limited License not acceptable)
- 1 Year experience in any of the following:
- Meditech RAD - Radiology
- Mammography
- Radiology
- 1 Year experience in any of the following:
- Echocardiogram (echo)
- Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
- Echocardiography
- Driver's License
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination or exemption request
