What Happens in Donations Anyway?
* Receive donations from donors
* Track and weigh donations that we collect - we gotta know so we can give back!

Position Title: Mobile Donation Attendant
Department: Donations
Reports to: Area Donations & Logistics Manager
Position Purpose and Objectives
Are you someone who thrives in the great outdoors, loves the freedom of independent work, and has a passion for helping people? If so, consider joining our team as a Mobile Donation Attendant! In this role, you'll oversee the gathering of donated items, all while relishing the freedom of working outdoors. Join us in our mission to make a positive impact on our community, one donation at a time. We're seeking individuals with exceptional customer service abilities, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to assist others. Successful candidates will drive donation growth by maintaining collection sites with operational excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Interact with donors to accept and process donations at trailer sites in an outdoor setting.
* Help to sustain and maintain donation trailer site and donation boxes for donation collections.
* Maintain clean and orderly donation sites based on company operational standards.
* Work safely and efficiently in unloading.
* Possess the ability to regularly work in hot, cold and wet weather conditions.
* Provide outstanding customer service to all donors and customers.
* Communicate an awareness of our mission and goals to our donors and customers.
* Maintain relationships with donors and the general public.
* Other duties may be assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
* Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for donors and customers.
* Strong verbal communication skills to clearly convey the organization's mission and goals to donors and customers.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items, in various weather conditions (hot, cold, wet).
* Strong organizational skills to maintain clean and orderly donation sites, adhering to company operational standards.
* Knowledge and practice of safety protocols to ensure safe handling of donations, loading/unloading of trailers, and maintenance of donation sites.
* Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with donors and the general public.
* Quick and effective problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise at donation sites.
* Ability to lift and move items regularly and work on your feet for extended periods.
* Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including hot, cold, and wet environments.
* Demonstrated ability to simultaneously handle multiple activities at one time.
* Applicants are required to pass a background screening.

Physical Demands:
* Occasionally - Carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs., lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing up to 14-foot height, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, handling and smelling.
* Frequently - Walking on tile/concrete, bending, feeling, and reaching waist/overhead level.
* Continuously - Standing on tile/concrete, talking, seeing, and hearing.
Other:
* Mostly regular and weekend hours, occasionally working evenings and holiday hours as needed.
* Working environment includes working in all-weather climates (hot, cold, wet, etc.)
