This position will also involve the repair and maintenance of various diesel systems and sub-systems and equipment, ensuring the work is performed in accordance with the OJT guide and all relevant codes and safety standards.Responsibilities & Duties In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor, perform inspection, repair, installation, and servicing of mobile equipment.In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor, perform repair and maintenance of engine and engine management systems.In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor, examine exhaust, intake, and emission control to diagnose issues.In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor, troubleshoot, repair or replace parts in the electrical system.In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor, troubleshoot, repair or replace parts in the hydraulic and pneumatic system.In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor, troubleshoot, repair or replace parts in clutches, transmissions, drive train, steering, suspension, and braking systems.In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor, troubleshoot, repair or replace parts in heating, AC, ventilation, and auxiliary air systems.In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor, troubleshoot, repair or replace parts in wheels, tires, body, and trim on diesel equipment.Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED.Basic skills and knowledge of mechanical concepts.Basic computer and MS Office Suite software knowledge.Demonstrable teamwork and maturity with a strong work ethic.Fluency in spoken and written English.Valid Driver's License. #J-18808-Ljbffr
