From repairing engines to oil changes, tune ups, brakes jobs and no-starts, Mobile Technicians are here to help remove the hassle of vehicle ownership.AS A CONTRACTOR (1099)Set your own scheduleNegotiate your rate(s)Accept the jobs you wantSet your work areaThis is a CONTRACT/1099 position. You would be an independent contractor and paid a flat rate by our company for your services. Jobs typically pay between $40.00 - $160 per job.REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE3 to 5+ years of automotive mechanic experienceMaster Tech or Medium Duty experience is preferredStrong customer-service and communication skillsStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsConduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issuesPerform a wide range of repairs, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, and other automotive systemsEfficiently address and resolve breakdowns, no-start situations, and other mechanical or electrical problemsPerform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake pad replacements, and fluid checksEnsure that vehicles receive scheduled maintenance in accordance with manufacturer recommendationsFamiliarity with a variety of vehicle makes and models.PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTSMust have reliable transportationPass a background checkA strong toolset and equipment that you can take on the road and ability to handle tools and equipment required to perform automobile repairAbility to travel to customer's home, workplace, or roadside locations with a fully equipped service vehicleA valid state driver's license for the state you are working in along with current vehicle insurance and registration - commercial automotive insurance requiredA good driving historyMust be able to work safely in a noisy areaAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Good vision to check repair workMust be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspectionsProlonged periods of standingMust be able to work in a variety of weather conditionsExposure to gasoline vapors and other automobile fluidsAbility to drive and operate an automobile for long periods of timeAdhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
