Job Description:

The mobile therapist (MT) provides direct treatment services to children, adolescents, and families following family systems theory, social ecological theory, behavioral therapies theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy theory, etc. Approaches to treatment include individual, family, and group therapies across a variety of settings: home, school, and community. Working in a team along with a behavioral health technician (BHT), the MT is the senior team leader and provides training, support, and supervision to the BHT.

This is a full-time position with non-traditional hours that may include evenings and weekends.

Education/Experience

* Master's prepared, Licensed in Social work, Counseling, Psychology or Nursing.

* Management experience required, plus two years' experience in a CASSP systems program, OR

* Be a licensed registered nurse with five years of experience, including two in CASSP system program plus certification by the American Nurses credentialing center (ANCC) or American academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP).

* Certification as a National Board Certified counselor is also acceptable.

Certifications, Licenses & Other Requirements

* Possess a current and valid driver's license issued by your state of residence and be able to operate an agency and/or personal vehicle safely during various weather patterns whether it be daytime or nighttime

* Be at least 21 years of age and have a driving record that meets the requirements of the DCI Vehicle Fleet Policy.

* Have reliable transportation, as the job requires use of employee's personal vehicle.
