JobSummary:As a Mobile Technician II, you are responsible for performing intermediateservice and repair of J.B. Hunt tractors, trailers, chassis, containers orpower equipment. Under routine supervision, this role works outside of theshop, servicing equipment at customer sites or rail yards using our mobileservice truck.

Averagesprojected at $23.15-$34.73 per hour
KeyResponsibilities:
- Performintermediate-level preventive maintenance and repairs, including tirereplacements, brake repairs, electrical diagnostics and basic structuralrepairs on tractor or trailer equipment.
- Troubleshootand repair ABS system
- Properlyoperate the mobile service truck and attend to truck inventory
- Assist withthe onboarding and mentorship of tractor technician trainees
- Follow allsafety requirements while onsite and at customer locations
- Accuratelycomplete work orders and other written materials according to establishedprocedures
- Properlydocument damage to company equipment to estimate cost of repairs Demonstrateproficient use of a cutting torch and welding equipment to perform mid-levelrepairs on chassis, frames, and other equipment
- Patch holes intrailer or container side panels and roofs
- Perform annualAA trailer and FHWA brake inspections under direct supervision
Shiftschedule: Wednesday-Saturday 7:30AM-6PM

MinimumQualifications:
- 18 years ofage for equipment up to 10,000 lbs or 21 years of age for equipment over 10,000lbs with 2 years of experience in semi-tractor or semi-trailer maintenance andrepair, or equivalent combination of education and experience, or militaryequivalent
- ANDDemonstration of the following skills and abilities through education,certifications, military, or other experiences
- Possess aclean motor vehicle record per J.B. Hunt guidelines
- Able to supplyyour own basic tools or purchase through our toolbox purchase program
- Willingness towork outdoors in the elements
- Able to workacross multiple shifts, including nights and/or weekends, if needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2 years of experience insemi-tractor or semi-trailer maintenance and repair, or equivalent combinationof education and experience, or military equivalent
- DOT certifiedin FHWA inspections and air brakes, with 1 year experience conductinginspections
- Weldingcertification
- Forkliftcertification and experience
- EPA section608 certification and refrigeration license
- Ability toeffectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through variousmediums
- Ability tomanage multiple priorities
- Ability towork both independently and as part of a team
- Proficientcomputer skills and/or comfortable working with a computer, including MicrosoftOffice suite(PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to usetime and resources efficiently and effectively
- Ability tofulfill physical requirements (lift/move appliance up to 50 pounds)
- Ability towear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE)
