Requires an entry-level knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and industry-wide systems engineering methodologies. An individual in this position is responsible for creating system models based on user requirements and providing technical direction for requirements development, technical problem solving, and the architecting of complex systems.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Participate in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) activities using commercial MBSE tools to identify program requirements and relationships, and manage the execution of the systems engineering process, including interfaces, key performance parameters, operational concepts, logical architectures, and physical architectures.
- Perform a range of design development, analysis, or review tasks under minimal supervision.
- Assist the lead with complex tasks and responsible for a portion of a design or section of an analysis or design review.
- Assist with generating and completing design specifications for more complex projects.
- Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements.
- Establish and maintain a filing system or databases as needed for tracking project status.
- Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
- Direct interface and liaison with customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test activities, design reviews and technical working group meetings in order to produce accurate requirements and specifications.
- Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.

- Excellent communications and analytical skills required.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related STEM discipline.
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Must be a U.S citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- While primarily an office job, may require time at a manufacturing facility or other location.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
- CONUS travel may be required from time to time.
