+ Modified Swimming - Head Coach (Co-Ed)
Description:Candidates are preferred to have head/assistant coaching experience at the Modified level or equivalent credentials. Candidates must have a detailed knowledge of current practices, rules, principles and technical skills of the sport they are applying to coach for. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to recruit and sustain a program. Candidates must have valid and up to date First Aid, CPR, AED & Concussion Management and DASA certifications. Candidate must also have an NYS Coaching certification and have completed an internship for the particular sport OR possess a temporary or permanent NYS coaching license for the particular sport. Proof of NYS fingerprinting clearance is required. Interested candidates should complete and submit their application byFriday, October 25, 2024.Qualifications:
+ New York State Coaching Certification, which requires the following:
+ Valid First Aid course accepted as meeting NYS Coaching requirements
+ Valid Adult CPR certification accepted as meeting NYS Coaching requirements
+ Workshop - Child Abuse Identification
+ Workshop - School Violence Intervention and Prevention
+ Workshop - Dignity for All Students Act (DASA)
+ Fingerprint Clearance
+ School District Recommendation
+ Valid Concussion Management Certificate (preferred)
+ Previous Coaching Experience (preferred)
