The Producing Level Mold Cleaner works under direct supervision to clean, inspect and perform simple maintenance to molds at the end of each production run. Compensation: Non-exempt hourly pay based on experience. OT and Performance Bonus eligible. Travel: None Location: Newbury, OH Manufacturing Facility. 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm), M-FKey Responsibilities:
Maintains molds by disassembling, cleaning and inspecting each mold at the end of each production run or mold changes. Performs repairs to molds by machining such as milling, welder, grinder and impact tools. Records work done on the molds at the end of each cleaning. Maintains work area by cleaning, straightening and sweeping as necessary. Adheres to all safety policies and procedures and maintains a safe and clean work area. What you will need to succeed:Education & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three (3) years previous experience in a manufacturing environment, specific knowledge of injection molding equipment, molds and cavities.
- Ability to program and run CNC equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and work with calibration tools and gauges
- Developed technical and mechanical ability
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use hand tools, grinders, welders and similar equipment
- Organized and able to multi-task
Competencies:
- Demonstrates skills to perform key responsibilities, under minimal supervision through advanced training and/or on the job experience.
- Knowledge working on multiple injection molding machines, molds and cavities.
- Follows standard operating procedures and applies analytical skills to perform a variety of activities.
- Uses safe practice of hand held tools and other equipment.
