As the Molding Machine Operator joining our manufacturing team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining SMC molding machinery used to produce high-quality composite parts. This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure that the final products meet our strict quality standards and customer specifications. A Day In The Life Operate SMC molding machines to fabricate composite parts as per production schedules and specifications. Set up machines and equipment for operation by adjusting tools and controls. Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency. Inspect finished products for defects and conformity to specifications, using precision measuring instruments as necessary. Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions, performing minor repairs and maintenance as required.
