Join a well-established plastic injection molding company known for its commitment to quality and innovation, providing a supportive environment for professional growth.Position: Mold Setter (3rd Shift)Shift Hours: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AMPay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourKey Responsibilities:
- Set and install molds, set up tooling, and verify quality at the start of production.
- Perform in-process mold cleaning and equipment maintenance as required.
- Manage color and material changes, ensure equipment cleanliness, and adhere to 5S housekeeping standards.
- Record data in the Mattec system, monitor process parameters, and complete mold/equipment storage tasks.
- Respond to alarms and participate in preventative maintenance activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Proficient with production equipment such as presses, grinders, dryers, and handling systems.
- Ability to follow safe work practices and lift up to 70 lbs.
- Strong teamwork and ethical standards, able to work overtime or weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb for prolonged periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Physical capability to perform all job functions without significant accommodation.
