Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for an Injection Molding Technician to be based out of Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Molding Manager, the Molding Technician's primary focus will be the daily Molding maintenance operations involved in injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.

What you'll do:

* Preventive Maintenance of all Molds, Machines, and auxiliary equipment.

* Check Product Quality and make necessary adjustments as required.

* Check all Safety functions on Machines.

* Clean, inspect, and repair of Molds.

* Monitor operation and performance of equipment.

* Complete all required records, documentation, and reports as required.

* Handle any required start-up and shutdown operations of Molding Machines and equipment.

* Provide troubleshooting and technical assistance for Molding and Machine Problems.

* Monitor production for accuracy and efficiency and work with quality inspectors to identify defects

* Assist with Production, New Product, and Processing Trials and Tests, as requested.

* Perform Mold Changes, Resin Changes, Purging, etc. for Machines and Setups.

* Perform scheduled and periodic Mold Preventive Maintenance, Cleaning, Polishing, Repairs, and Overhauls.

* Perform assembly, modifications, installation, and connection of auxiliary equipment as required for different line configurations and production requirements.

* Perform required Preventive Maintenance and Repairs on other Facility and Auxiliary Equipment and Systems.

* Comply with Quality and Environmental Management Systems Procedures and Work Instructions; all OSHA, Fire Safety, EPA and other regulatory guidelines and rules; all Company Operations, Personnel, Safety and Environmental policies.

* Maintain clean conditions in all associated work areas.

* All other assigned duties

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED and 3 to 5 years of similar work experience preferred, but not required. Working knowledge/certification to operate a forklift.

* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

* Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations

* Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization

* Ability to accurately access a problem, and effectively arrive at an excellent solution

* Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner

* Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment

* Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Within 3 months, you'll:

* Complete any required training

* Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
