- Experience with molding machines, how to change out molds and hydraulics, and working with electrical and injection molding equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Ideally, I want a minimum of three years in injection molding or plastics.
- Can lift to 40lbs and be on your feet all day.
- Solid communication skills do attitude, respect to team members, and commitment to your work.
- Technology savvy and willing to use a computer to plug in job codes and edit as needed. You cannot be afraid of computers and learning the program.
Responsibilities
- Set up, monitor, operate, and troubleshoot plastic injection molding machines. In this role, you are expected to run 2-3 machines at one time.
- During the production process, you will monitor the parts, ensuring they meet all quality standards, and identifying and addressing problems as needed.
- Follow SOPs when working with molds, machines, and material handling equipment and verify that everything is set up correctly according to SOP standards.
- Once machines are set up, start the production run, consistently checking parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot processing problems, perform preventative maintenance tasks, and document process changes.
- Operate forklifts, hoists, and hand tools safely and efficiently while handling production material.
- Package finished product when signed off on.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: HS Diploma or GED preferred.Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 11 pm-7 amPay: $21-$24/hr. DOE.Benefits:
