Job Description:
Molding Process Technician - Greencastle, IndianaDISHER is currently partnering with an automotive manufacturing company in their search for a Molding Process Technician. In this role you will work on projects which require a wide degree of originality, latitude, and independent judgment to support production targets and business objectives. This key member of our team will play an integral part in performing mold/material changes, process troubleshooting, part inspections, and other various functions to ensure part conformity and quality.What it's like to work here: This large automotive supplier is in a state of change to refocus and create a dynamic culture for their employees to thrive in.     • Direct and monitor the execution of the production schedule
    • Perform mold and/or material changes as dictated by the schedule
    • Perform process troubleshooting, part inspections, and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality
    • Verify paperwork for jobs and completion of inspections at startup of jobs and in process inspections
    • Monitor and prepare support equipment i.e. circulators, grinders, etc. as needed in the production area
    • Operate a forklift and use an overhead crane hoist to perform mold changes and maintenance of molding machines
    • Process molding parameters to achieve quality parts and optimize cycle times
    • Complete setups of all new tooling and develop starting press parameter and robot program
    • Work with our tech center on new materials and incoming jobs.
    • Work with tool maker for tool trials
What will make you successful:
    • Ability to visually inspect products to quality speculation
    • Ability to read, interpret and follow written work instructions
    • Follow all Environmental and Safety Rules
    • Mechanical troubleshooting experience
    • 5+ years of Injection Molding experience
    • Good attendance
    • Ability to operate all equipment, machinery, and hand tools as needed.
    • Strong communication skills
    • Must be self-motivated and be able to maintain the plant and equipment to ensure that everything is operational during production
    • Knowledge of Systematic Control, and Environmental standards
    • Must be able to read and understand all Work Instructions, Inspection Standards &/or Quality Key Points
