REPORTS TO: Molding Technical Supervisor

3rd Shift

JOB SUMMARY:

A Mold Set-Up Technician is responsible for supporting mold maintenance and production. Removes and sets molds according to the mold change schedule. Maintains molds for cleanliness and repairs as needed or as directed by lead man. Performs mold cleaning and required documentation. Manages and controls tooling and processing changes in the injection molding presses.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1.Performs all duties and essential job functions of the Mold Set-Up Technician II position.

Complex mold set-up without supervision. Completes process, LPAs, and in-process audits. Acts as trainer for all Mold Set-Up Technicians. Performs advanced troubleshooting and wiring.

QUALIFICATIONS

* High School diploma or equivalent.

* Completion of RJG Systematic I Scientific Molding certification.

* Advanced Electrical theory in troubleshooting electrical circuits.
