Brings any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of hospital administrative staff. Takes appropriate action on concerns reported by department staff related to compliance.QualificationsEducation:High school diploma or equivalencyCertified Nursing AssistantEmergency Medical Technician CertificationParamedic CertificationExperience:Certified nursing assistant in an acute care environmentLicense(s)/Certification(s):Certified in Basic Life Support within 90 days of hireKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Basic computer knowledge and the ability to document accurately and timelyAbility to deal efficiently and effectively with a varied patient population and the health care teamEffectively communicates with all team members, physicians, ancillary staff and all customers.Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferredOther:Completes annual mandatory educationAble to wear personal protective equipment (e.g., face mask, goggles, latex/non-latex gloves) as neededSeeks to be involved in unit improvements, quality projects, and other enhancements to patient care.* Area of Interest: Patient Care;* FTE/Hours per pay period: .3;* Department: Nursing Administration- SLRMC;* Shift: 7a-7p;* Job ID: 147126;
