General Purpose and Scope (Summary):This position is a sales position designed to generate residential mortgage loan applications. Trainee will be responsible for developing relationships with sources that can refer borrowers in need of a mortgage loan for their new house purchase or to refinance a property currently owned. Some of the more successful relationships are formed with Realtor's and Builder's. Responsibilities / Functions:
- Complete SAFE Act course work (20 hours plus 8 hours State Specific)
- Pass Mortgage Loan Originator Test to become a licensed MLO
- Training with Senior Management to include but not limited to:
- Qualifying Borrowers
- Learning Loan Origination Software
- Loan Programs & Product Knowledge
- Sales and Relationship Development
- Mortgage Application Flow and Milestones (understanding Processing, underwriting, and closing roles)
