We are looking for a driven mortgage sales professional to follow up with new leads and guide them through their pre-approval and home financing journey. You will be responsible for taking loan applications, assessing clients' financial situations, and identifying the best loan options for them. Building and nurturing deep relationships with real estate agents is a key part of your role, ensuring they feel confident referring their clients to us. You'll stay in contact with clients throughout their home search, providing updates to them and their agents every step of the way. Additionally, you will negotiate interest rates and outmaneuver competing lenders to secure business, always striving to deliver an outstanding client experience that makes us the go-to choice for home financing.
To be considered for this role, you must have at least two years of mortgage industry experience and a proven background exemplifying the following skills:
Mortgage Expertise: Strong knowledge of mortgage products, interest rates, rate locks, and familiarity with pricing engines.
Sales and Relationship Building: Proven ability to build lasting relationships with clients and referral partners, showing the value of working with our company over competitors.
Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex financial scenarios clearly and simply to clients, putting them at ease and addressing concerns with confidence.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, Loan Origination Software (LOS), and other technology tools to manage client information and workflows efficiently.
Problem Solving and Objection Handling: Skilled in overcoming objections, negotiating terms, and handling challenging conversations, including delivering difficult news tactfully.
Time Management: Excellent at balancing competing priorities, managing stress, and maintaining focus under pressure while handling a high volume of work without compromising quality.
Attention to Detail: Thorough and meticulous, with a commitment to completing tasks accurately and following all necessary steps in the process.
