Motion Graphics Designer Contract: 15 Months Location: Remote, NY Salary: $60/hr Responsibilities and Duties of the Role: * Support Creative/Art Directors with the production of digital marketing assets * Versioning of creative assets for global marketing campaigns * Design/animate visual solutions for social media assets * Support design/animation and implementation of campaign and weekly marketing emails * Contribute to all stages of creative development, from research and storyboarding to animation /production and final delivery Job Requirements Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in motion design/animation, in-house or at an agency
- Strong portfolio and reel with cinematic-quality examples of work showcasing a strong sense of animation, design, typography, composition and pacing.
- Deep understanding of all social media platforms, their specs and abilities
- Expert understanding of Adobe After Effects and diverse range of motion design software, plugins & techniques
- Must have expert level understanding of Animation principles (2D)
- Compositing
- Rotoscoping
- Gathering and sharing inspiration
- Building toolkits (lower thirds, transitions, supers, etc)
- Logo animation
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Stay current and up-to-date with design trends, technology, techniques and processes
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality control, consistently reviewing work to accomplish tasks with follow through to completion while staying on deadline
- Flexible, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
