Goldbelt Apex, LLC is headquartered in Juneau, Alaska with offices in Herndon, Virginia. Summary:Goldbelt Apex, LLC is seeking a Motor Vehicle Mechanic. ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:
  • Performs routine scheduled and non-scheduled services on a variety of military equipment.
  • Documents services and requests repair parts utilizing Army systems Utilizes military and commercial Class A vehicles to transport equipment.
  • Operates 50,000lb forklift (KALMAR) to position, load, and off load material.
  • Serves as a member of the spill response team.
  • Provides training to staff and students on the operation and maintenance requirements of a organic site vehicles and equipment.
QualificationsNecessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks Proven experience collaborating with a team.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • ASE certified Diesel Mechanic at time of hiring or Two years recent experience as an Army wheeled vehicle mechanic (91B), with one year having served within unit-level operations or civilian equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have CDL within 180 days of hire.
  • Must maintain CDL for the duration of the contract Forklift certified or certified within 180 days of hire.
  • Be capable of being certified on 50,000LB FORKLIFT (KALMAR) within 180 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
