POSITION SUMMARY: Sugarbush Resort is seeking 2 full-time seasonal dispatchers in our Mountain Operations Department! This position is the communication hub for all resort emergencies and is a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple forms of communication including phones and radios. Experience handling emergency situations is a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Dispatchers perform a wide range of daily dispatch functions.
• Monitor and coordinate all radio transmissions.
• Communicate operations for Ski Patrol, Lift Operations, and Lift Maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate responses to mountain emergencies, including ski accidents, lift failures, and weather conditions.
• Record and announce all lift openings, closings, delays and service interruptions.
• Coordinate dissemination of information effecting normal daily Mountain Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment and have a demonstrated ability to work on a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make decisions quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
• Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
• Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting and speaking on a constant basis.
• Timeliness and reliability are essential. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
