Job Overview

The Move/Storage Coordinator plans, answers inquiries, and tracks and records warehouse related activities. These activities require a strong computer skillset and knowledge base. This position interfaces with internal and external customers, tracks the lifecycle of work orders, provides workload analysis to Supervision, and maintains all documents and details of the department's activities.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties & Job Functions:
  • Performs clerical, statistical, and data entry tasks in support of administrative work activities of the warehouse.
  • Processes a variety of customer requests and assists in scheduling work orders and debit deliveries.
  • Utilizes computerized automated system to track, plan and maintain work, moves, and storage activities.
  • Retrieves work orders, monitors and confirms database entries for accuracy and completeness, and responds to customer requests via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Resolves customer complaints and inquiries in accordance with established procedures and guidelines; for those issues that cannot be resolved, directs customer to appropriate personnel.
  • Communicates with Supervision regarding safety, manpower, and/or equipment issues that may hinder the mission.
  • Analyzes work performed, generates statistics and creates weekly and monthly reports.
  • Optimizes workload based on employees' skills, availability and preferences while always respecting rules and enforcing all policies and labor agreements.
  • Operates Customer or CCS-owned motor vehicles.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job RequirementsMandatory:
  • Demonstrated experience in the customer service, supply, warehouse, or logistics field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the workflow of multiple critical issues within a continuously adapting schedule.
  • High attention to detail and demonstrated excellence in diplomatic, organizational, time management, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
  • Scheduling of walk-throughs/site surveys and arrangement of personnel and equipment required to perform the task.
  • Must be able to obtain forklift certification to operate all types of MHE.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Mature judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screen.
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain prior to commencing work and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and team lift 75 pounds.
